Why Reynolds?
RPM offers a full range of services from basic tune-ups on 10hp jon boats to full bore racing engine modifications. We have factory certified techs trained in the latest technology to repair your boat RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. RPM has an in house machinist capable of handling any specialty fabrication job. Tony Reynolds hand builds every hi-performance engine, this assures you that you get the best racing engine possible. Tony Reynolds has been in the marine repair business since 1985. He began his career at a boat dealership located near the grade school he attended in his hometown. He rode the school bus to the boat shop and trained there to become a Mercury mechanic. It paid off. Tony served as service manager of other local dealerships until 1996. Tony has Master certifications from Mercury, Johnson/Evinrude, and OMC stern drives. He began
construction on Reynolds Performance Marine spring 1996. RPM was built from the service department up. Most boat dealerships are owned by businessmen that never get their hands dirty. Tony is the owner of RPM, But he is also the "hands on" shop foreman and he works side by side with the other mechanics in the shop. RPM is the right choice for your boat when it needs service and repairs.
RPM is the best place to have your boat set-up. It does not matter whether it is several years old, or a New boat you just bought, we can improve your set-up. We have a huge library of props to select from to make sure your boat delivers the performance you deserve. We specialize in setting up Allisons, bullets, gamblers, strokers among others. Do you have a supposed hi-performance boat you just bought that does not perform like it should? Does the dealer who sold it to you not seem able to deliver the blistering performance you paid for? Bring the boat to RPM, Tony Reynolds can make it perform like it should. Keep in mind, set up work CANNOT be done over the phone, therefore Tony cannot spend time on the phone attempting to educate you on how to set up your boat. When you call Tony for set up work, he will simply schedule an appointment for you to bring your boat to RPM. You and Tony will first go to a local lake together to document its current level of performance. Tony will then tell you what you can expect after he performs his magic. Tony will change whatever he sees fit to get the performance your boat is capable of. This may include adding a jack plate or changing the size of the one already on the boat, Changing and/or modifying the prop, moving batteries in the boat to achieve better balance and handling, altering the shape of your lower unit and /or adding a low water pickup nosecone, altering and or modifying the running surface of your boats bottom. When the work is complete, you and Tony will go back to the lake to confirm the boat is delivering the performance he promised. You will be charged for all materials, fuel, and labor performed by Tony Reynolds and RPM. If Tony does not deliver, you don't pay. He will put your boat's set-up back the way it was when he started, and you will owe him nothing.
